Prayer to Aconite (Wolfsbane/Monkshood)

I won’t be dismissed today.
I will hold my ground. 
I’m not just a pretty face,
that will be pushed around.

Looks can be deceiving.
I’m more than you can see.
I will defend myself. 
I won’t stand here quietly.

Aconite, bright flower,
lovely, but deadly too.
You don't lash out at others,
yet few will mess with you.

Thank you mountain flower,
for being so complex.
You remind me today
that I deserve respect.
